I purchased Tag Editor in early 2019 and use it every day, as I add live performances to my music collection. It is intuitive, straightforward, and simple to learn. Highest recommendation!

Étant DJ, il est essentiel pour moi de pouvoir trouver le sons adéquat rapidement en soirée, et cela passe d’abord par une bibliothèque de fichiers audio bien rangé. Je cherchais donc une petite application native me permettant de renommer les noms et artistes des musiques, indépendamment du nom du fichier, ainsi que de pouvoir ajouter des artwork sur mes fichiers. Autant dire que l’application répond parfaitement à cet usage, et j’ai été agréablement surpris par la fonctionnalité de renaming automatique des noms de fichiers, simple, mais avec pile la customisation nécessaire pour rendre la fonctionnalité vraiment utile. Et tout ça gratuitement.. je cherche encore l’anguille sous roche Bref, super appli, merci beaucoup !

I have tried many, many apps to sort my music library, most of them mess things up. This one is the best, I just load an artists name and the folder its in, choose “Load” and say “Yes” and let it think a bit, hit “Save” and all the artists albums are sorted, art is added and I don’t have to think about a messed up library anymore. Love it! 😀

I would like to be able to choose the metadata provider. Ideally, to use Spotify’s as a source. Other than that, works really well, and looks nice on Tahoe.

MP4 動画ファイルとAAC および Apple Lossless 楽曲ファイルのタグ入力の際に大量のファイルを一括して編集できるので重宝しています。アートワークを追加できるのもいいですね。 ただし、日本語入力の際、バグなのか、最初の文字を入力するとアルファベットになり英字入力モードに切り替わってしまいます。そのアルファベットをデリートして、日本語入力モードを選択し直すと、それ以後は日本語で入力が可能です。文字化け等の致命的なバグはありません。少し面倒なところですが、使用上の実害はありません。 バグ修正されたら完璧ですね。

The ability to edit tags in a spreadsheet format places Tag Editor 2 in a category of its own. Nothing else comes close.

Such an amazing app. Able to rename and rearrange and much more on over 50,000 tracks in my multiple playlists. Simply amazing!
