By default, the converter applies automatic settings for output MP3 files. Automatic bit rate, sample frequency, and channels ensure the best possible MP3 sound quality and conserve hard drive space by avoiding unnecessary upsampling.
You can also adjust MP3 output characteristics in Preferences:
- Constant Bit Rate from the range between 8 and 320 kbit/s.
- Variable Bit Rate can be settled between 8 and 320 kbit/s.
- Sample Rate can be set between 8 and 48 kHz.
- Channel mode between Mono, Stereo, Dual, or Joint.
- Cyclic Redundancy Checks (CRC), which are useful for error checking and protection of MP3 audio.

The converter app supports full tag transfer from source files to output MP3s, allowing the conversion of source MP4 metadata, WAV Info, ID3, XIPH/Vorbis tags, and other metadata formats into ID3v1 and ID3v2.4 tags embedded in output MP3 files.
